Midhurst offers a range of Tea Rooms, Cafes and a Sports Centre, and the town centre is just 5 minutes walk away from the bungalow where there is a regular bus service to Chichester and Haslemere, both of which provide a main line station. Midhurst also offers Polo and Golf at Cowdray Park. Nearby in Petworth there is Petworth Park and Petworth House, both well worth a visit. Goodwood Racing and Chichester Festival Theatre are also only 20 minute drive away. Midhurst makes a wonderful central location to visit the area and there are places of interest to visit that are not too far by car, such as Petworth and Haslemere: 10 Mins, Goodwood, Chichester and Petersfield: 20 Mins, Guildford: 40 Mins, Portsmouth & Horsham: 45 Mins, Gatwick & Heathow Airports: 60 Mins. Midhurst is renowned for its many miles of open countryside and is within easy reach of the South Downs Way, ideal for walking. |
