Cemaes is an attractive fishing harbour set on a lovely sandy bay.
The characterful village has a range of amenities to support the families and day visitors who come to enjoy the two golden beaches, and perhaps an ice cream or fish and chips on the promenade. The Cemaes Heritage Centre houses an exhibition of local history and a tea room. Cemaes is also popular for sailing, fishing and other watersports such as windsurfing, and close by is the scenic rocky Llanbadrig Bay.
Following the coastal path to the west are found the Skerries. These small rocky islands are the most northern part of Wales, with an iconic lighthouse and seabird colonies, and popular with divers.
