Arrochar tourist information

In a spectacular setting at the head of Loch Long and surrounded by dramatic rugged mountains, Arrochar is a popular destination for visitors looking for distinctly Scottish scenery.

The main attraction here is the great outdoors. The mountains of the Arrochar Alps opposite the village include the famous Ben Arthur (or 'Cobbler') with its craggy peaks, and Ben Narnain, both a draw for walkers climbers and ideal for wildlife watching.

Along with its neighbouring village of Tarbet, which has a tourist information centre, on the banks of Loch Lomond, Arrochar is at a crossroads of Highland and Lowland Scotland and set within part of the beautiful Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park.
