The tiny Isle of Gigha is the most Southerly of the Inner Hebrides, with many beautiful sandy beaches along its stunning coastline.
Gigha offers wonderful walks with panoramic views of sea and lovely open landscapes. Wild dolphins and standing stones are among the many attractions of the island.
Sheltered and sunny, the island is famed for Achamore Gardens with its rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias thriving in this warmer climate. The gardens were established by Sir James Horlick who once owned the island and are now maintained by the Isle of Gigha Heritage Trust who bought the island on behalf of the local community in 2002.
