A village famous for the nearby beaches.

North of Swanage, the village has an unspoilt church, but most people visit to get to the beaches. There are 4 miles of beaches and some great views.

One area of the beach is a naturist beach.

There is a small National Trust Visitor Centre at Knoll Beach with a cafe and othere facilities.

Worth seeing is the Agglestone, a massive ironstone rock to the west, as well as the chalk stacks of Old Harry Rocks offshore, or take one of the National Trust Trails in woodland or the sand dunes.
