Enjoy a day out on the famous beach.

Drive to East Fleet with its ruined church, to see this beach with its lagoon, Fleet Lagoon, cut off from the sea.

The peeble beach is part of the part of the Jurrasic coast, a World Heritage site. On the east side is Hamm Beach, and at the south end of the lagoon is a Chesil Beach Visitors Centre, off the A354 between Weymouth and Portland, which is being re-developed for opening during the summer of 2012.

There are a number of pay and display car parks.
