Travel back to the time of the English Civil War.

Your 2 hour tour will show you what Torrington was like in 1646 when the English Civil War was raging across England, Royalists versus the Parliamentarians of Cromwell. A fun way to learn history. Your guide will take you through the reconstructed streets of Torrington to watch musket balls being made, dress up as a soldier, have a go with some of the weapons, and see the barber surgeon at work. After your tour you can visit the exhibition here.

Facilities at 1646 include a cafe.
