Beautiful 14th Century House
A historic house and seat of the Duke of Hamilton. Now a hotel and entertaining venue, it also offers guided tours of this former fortress, with walls 11 feet thick in places. It houses an important portrait collection as well as historical memorabilia such as a ring and death mask of Mary, Queen of Scots. The House also has a tearoom.
