Boat trips and museum.
Run by the Linlithgow Union Canal Society, the centre runs regular boat trips in the summer along the peaceful Union Canal to the Avon Aqueduct. It also runs occasional cruises to the amazing Falkirk Wheel - the worlds first rotating boatlift and a triumph of modern engineering. Back on shore, there is a museum of canal history and a tea room to relax in afterwards.
