Caledonian Canal

Waterway passing through some of the best scenery in Scotland.

This canal links Inverness to the north with Fort William in the south, taking in other attractive towns such as Fort Augustus, and the lakes of Loch Lochy, Loch Oich and Loch Ness. There are a variety of pleasure cruise companies who take visitors on trips through this lovely scenery, or alternatively walk along the towpath on the Great Glen Way.
