Splendid Gothic mansion.

This amazing and huge stately home was built in the 19th century in the gothic revival style and still impresses today with its intricate designs and imposing proportions. Highlights include the dramatic marble hall with a ceiling that reaches 80ft high, the horoscope Room with an astrological-themed ceiling, and the pure white marble chapel. There are also regular guided tours of the lovely gardens, and behind-the-scenes private tours of the house are also available by prior appointment. The estate has a visitor centre with restaurant, gift shop and gallery, and there is also a garden centre and farm shop.
