The only full-time public observatory in the UK.
This wonderful purpose-built building was donated to Dundee by local textile magnate and science enthusiast John Mills in 1935, and has a 7m high dome. The observatory offers a free exhibition on the night sky, and also regular evening planetarium shows in the winter months for a small charge.
