Arbroath Signal Tower Museum

Local museum set in the shore station of the Bell Rock Lighthouse.

This elegant Georgian tower and buildings on Arbroath harbourside was once the on-shore quarters for families of the lighthouse keepers of the Bell Rock Lighthouse, located many miles off the coast. Now it houses a local museum of life in Arbroath, the Robert Stevenson designed lighthouse, natural history and particularly focuses on the fishing and maritime history of the area. Closed in 2010 for refurbishment, it will reopen in 2011.
