Brecon Mountain Railway

This hertiage railway runs steam locomotives along a former railway branch to Dowlais. These wonderful restored trains take visitors through the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park and along the banks of the Pontsticill reservoir. The railway operates a childrens play area and cafe at Pontsticill Station for those seeking rest and refreshment, and the area is a great place to walk, cycle or just relax and enjoy the open air.
