Long distance cycle path between Brecon and Cardiff.
The Taff Trail travels for 55 miles (88km) through South Wales from Brecon to Cardiff, passing by Merthyr Tydfil. Much has been created traffic free along the route, using former railways and canals. It travels past many areas of historic significance for South Wales, such as the Cafarthfa Iron Works and Cefn Coed Viaduct - and well as green and scenic landscapes such as Pontsticill Reservoir and the southern parts of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
