This eccentric and wonderful private seaside village was brought to world fame when the cult TV series 'The Prisoner' was filmed here in the 1960s. The series starred Patrick McGoohan as captive secret agent No.6 who lived in The Round House. Now a shop selling memorabilia and gifts associated with the series, it is surprising for fans to discover how different the interior is from that seen on the show (being actually filmed in the much larger MGM studio sets).
