This fairytale castle was built in the early 19th century and was previously a private home and open to the public at various stages in it history. In recent years it has become derelict and passed through several owners, but has yet to be restored to its former glory. The Gwyrch Castle Preservation Trust publicises the plight of this historic building and works to promote its regeneration.
