Beautiful landscaped grounds of a fine country estate.

Set in the beautiful and remote Ystwyth valley inland from Aberystwyth, the Hafod Estate boasts one of the finest examples of landscaping in the Georgian natural 'Picturesque' style. Laid out for Thomas Johnes in the 18th century, the estate has recently undergone extensive restoration, with more planned for the future. There are now five way-marked walks through this stunning landscape. For those who want to explore the area further, the estate is also just 3.5 miles from the picturesque Devils Bridge (terminus of the Vale of Rheidol Railway in the summer season).
