Rhyl Miniature Railway

Take a ride on a heritage steam railway, first opened in 1911.

This small but perfectly formed railway uses wonderful restored locomotives, some of which are over a hundred years old. Taking the mile-long trip around Marine Lake in open or closed carriages, visitors can take the trip that Edwardian tourists first enjoyed in 1911. Steam locomotives are always used on peak days, and at other times the electric railcar or diesel haulage may be used. Back at the station there is a hands-on railway museum, and refreshments and gifts available from the ticket office.
