Beautiful small medieval Cathedral.
This historic Christian site has been a centre for worship since at least the 6th century, when Saint Asaph was Bishop. The church has had an interesting history since that time, being largely rebuilt between the 13th and 15th centuries, and suffering from its position in the disputed boarderlands between England and Wales often the scene of conflicts. Guided tours of this fascinating building take place at 11am and 3pm on Saturday, and 2pm on Sunday. Pre-booking is essential, contact the Cathedral office to secure your place. The church also has an art gallery space, and hosts regular events and the North Wales International Music Festival.
