The museum has objects from all over the world, from masks to early stone tools.
The galleries are spread over three floors, with exhibits ranging from British and overseas archaeology to items showing the art and material culture. There are also displays of sculpture. Holds special exhibitions, Free entryCurrently closed for modernisation until early 2012. Normal opening hours are Tues-Sat 10:30-16:30.
