Wonderful Art Deco building on the Porthcawl seafront.
This imposing domed building is indeed grand in its design, and was originally a dance hall and theatre. The venue still hosts a great variety of drama, cinema, film, comedy, talks and dance - and the full Ballroom sprung dance floor is a great asset given the recent resurgence in popularity of dancing thanks to hit TV shows such as 'Strictly Come Dancing'. There is also a cafe bar with wonderful views over the promenade and coast.
