This public forest country park has some wonderful scenery, ideal for exploring on foot, bike or on horseback. The visitor centre at Cynonville is the ideal starting point for a visit to the park, with information, bike hire, cafe, gift shop and access to numerous trails and walks in the woods. The forest is also home to other attractions such as the South Wales Miners Museum (next to the visitor centre) and Glyncorrwg Mountain Bike Centre just up the Afan Valley.
