Britain's most famous New Town, built to ease London's population
rise.
Originally, the area
had a series of small villages and the town encompasses them
all. Part of the plan was to separate the roads from the pedestrians,
so there are parks, walks, and cycle ways, the "Redways".
As the town has grown excellent leisure facilities have been
added, and the countryside is just next door !
