Abergele tourist information

Abergele is a small traditional Welsh town, set close to the coast and linked to the seaside at Pensarn.

The wide sand and shingle beach here is a popular destination for visitors and windsurfers.

Just outside of Abergele is the fantastic Gwrych Castle, a huge and amazing early 19th century fairytale castle now sadly in a poor state of repair. Privately-owned and earmarked for restoration into a 5 star hotel, the local Preservation Trust are helping to ensure its long-term survival.
