an old market town with fine houses, it gets very busy in the
summer.
Liskeard was a stannary town where tin miners brought their
tin for weighing,assaying and taxation. A bull ring can
be seen in the castle park.
Market day is busy as it is a premier cattle market
for the surrounding area..
The town church is 15th century with 17th century pulpit
and 1902 tower.
