Walk about a mile to Lizard Point,
great scenery. Clifftop walks, can be windy, local ore, serpentine
dug here to make into souvenirs.

 Goonhilly
Earth Station, as you drive towards the Lizard, signposted,
the satellite communication centre with lots of dishes. Where
the first transatlantic television pictures were received in
1962. Visitor Centre, bus tour of the site included in the admission,
shop, play areas, cafe, audio visual presentations, etc. We
found it an interesting place to visit with a good, modern visitor
