Morwenstow, a small village just inside Cornwall, once the base for wreckers who lured ships onto the rocks.
The churchyard has a ships figurehead and the vicar was once R.S. Hawker, 1803 - 1875, a poet who invented Harvest Festival.
Good access to small coves here. There is a National Trust car park, toilets and cafe at Sandy Mouth, and you can walk from here along the cliffs to Duckpool.
