Porthcurno
|
|
| Porthcurno,
a small village with low tide only sands, made famous as sailors
pushed Logan Rock on Tretyn Dinas headland into the sea
in 1824, but the locals made them put it back!, the rock is
now balanced on the headland.
The first transatlantic telephone cables reached England
here.
Excellent beach.
