Central CornwallSt Mawes

St Mawes, a small village on the peninsula, with its old fishing port and  narrow and steep streets rising from the port.

Good beach, take a boat trip !.

The St Mawes castle overlooks towards Falmouth, and a visit to St Just in Roseland, a smaller, prettier, village on a creek is worth a visit.

There are lots of small places to visit, both inland and on the coast, definitely an area to wander around at a leisurely pace.
