Denbigh Tourist Information
Historic Denbigh was once a medieval walled fortress town, with its mighty 13th century castle dominating the town from the hilltop.
The castle may now be ruined, but it remains a spectacular legacy of the conflicts that once raged between England and Wales. Parts of the old stone town walls also remain and give great character to this ancient market town.
Denbigh is a pleasant place with some nice old buildings, centred around the market place and library, with great views over the rolling green hills of the surrounding countryside.
