With miles of golden sands, Rhyl has been a favourite with generations of family holidaymakers.
The fantastic wide beach benefits from a seasonal lifeguard service, giving peace of mind for parents and swimmers, and is also popular with sea and kite-surfers. For a more relaxing day out, there are donkey rides and plenty of places to buy an ice-cream, fish and chips or bucket and spade.
Rhyl is a lively resort known for its exciting seaside attractions. Today these include the Drift Park, the Skytower with panoramic views, The Sun Centre, SeaQuarium, and the Rhyl Miniature Railway, which has been entertaining visitors for 100 years.
There are also some historic landmarks nearby - such as 13th century Rhuddlan Castle and the imposing 19th century mansion of Bodelwyddan Castle. Bodrhyddan Hall is a beautiful house set in lovely gardens and parkland.
