Ruthin Tourist Information
Ruthin is a picturesque market town on the River Clwyd in the centre of Denbighshire, with handsome old buildings centred round the main Saint Peter's Square.
This bustling town is well known for its great shopping and eating places, with many interesting independent stores and an excellent monthly produce market in the square with stalls selling local food, drink and crafts.
Other attractions in the town include the restored Gaol house, the beautiful half-timbered 15th century house of Nantclwyd y Dre, and the strikingly modern Ruthin Craft Centre.
Ruthin is set in beautiful unspoilt countryside and is ideal for exploring the uplands of the Clwydian Range. Moel Famau, the highest hill, dominates the local landscape, and just to the east is the scenic Loggerheads Country Park.
