DartmoorWelcome To Dartmoor...the wild side of Devon

Wild and rugged tors, hills and lakes, Dartmoor is the No.1 Tourist Region in Devon, but it can be dangerous, so, please, be prepared for the worst when viisting or walking on the moor away from inhabited areas.

Dartmoor is easily reached from the main towns of Devon, via Bovey Tracey, Tavistock, Moretonhampstead or even Okehampton. The northern part of Dartmoor is use as a military firing area, so watch for the red flags.

IDEAS FOR A DAY OUT:
In And Around Dartmoor

Try Castle Drogo, near Mortenhampstead, or venture around Widecombe-in-the-Moor, famous for its fair, in the middle of popular spots on the moor

POPULAR TOURIST SPOTS:
Becky Falls

With the water rushing around you the falls are as dramatic in winter as they are a peaceful refuge in the summer. One of our favourite Devon spots, ideal to combine with a visit to Hay TorTRY A QUICK VISIT
