Central DevonBuckfastleigh

Buckfastleigh, is "Nestling on the edge of the moor", well that what the guide books say.

Buckfastleigh is a small market town, originally an important wool centre, visited on the way to and from Dartmoor. The old mills still survive.

Above the town is Holy Trinity Church, worth a visit although it was burned down in July 1992, all that remains is the shell, however it still makes interesting visiting. The grave yard houses Squire Cabell's (Hound of the Baskervilles) Tomb.
