Lynmouth was a fishing village but now , very very, busy in the summer.
A good staging post to tour around Exmoor and the Devon/Somerset coast.
Pretty place with the River Lyn running through the village. The river flooded in 1952 nearly destroying the village and killing 31 people.
Well worth a visit, even in peak summer season. Shops a bit too touristy. Take the cliff railway up to nearby Lynton.
