Woolacombe, Turn off the A361 between Ilfracombe and Barnstaple at the roundabout just outside Ilfracombe. Signposted. The road drops down to the sea giving excellent views.

Woolacombe tourist information
Woolacombe, a small holiday resort, but bigger than Croyde, with all facilities and a great beach.
Gets very busy in summer with tourists as popular with surfers and families alike.
Large car parks overlook the long, extensive beach. As its popular with teenagers there are caravan sites and camping sites as well as hotels, guest houses and Bed & Breakfast places to stay. Further camp sites up the hill nearer the roundabout.
Lively in summer, clubs in some of the hotels.
