Exeter

|
| Exeter,
the city is always busy and always worth the time to visit,
a university town, the Northcott
Theatre is in the university campus.
The Cathedral is on the
site of an 11th century church, with the Cathedral Green a relaxing
place to visit and wander, although the coffee shops and restaurants
around it are always tempting.
Take one of the walking tours on offer.
The best shops are around this area, otherwise its the normal
range of chains. As the city was badly bombed in WWII parts
of the shopping area is fairly new.
Plenty of sporting activities and in the football season
watch Exeter City play.
Lots to do, with events nearly every week.
Large shopping centre,
now pedestrianised, whilst down by the River Exe and the Exeter
Canal old buildings still remain, and you can take a boat
trip.
