East DorsetBournemouth

Bournemouth, one of the major English seaside resorts, with all the shops, hotels, clubs, and facilities of a major town which has expanded to touch its neighbours as it spreads from Poole to Christchurch.

Developed as an Victorian resort in 1840's, with a pier and walks and gardens along the 6 miles of sandy beaches, Bournemouth has been extensively developed, yet the beach area and western suburbs tend to be away from the traffic problems.

Bournemouth is rather genteel in places with its gardens, but it also the home of the famous Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.

A modern conference centre has been built to diversify the existing tourism and retirement area.

Lots of night life with clubs, bars, Sega Centre,3D IMAX Cinema , and casinos to help you relax after a hard day at water sports and the beach life.

Tourist Information Centre in the town.
