Lyme Regis
|
|
| Lyme Regis is
an old seaside town, rather quaint with antique, art shops and
fossil shops, as well as the harbour and the very famous breakwater,
The Cobb, as seen in the French Lieutenants Woman.
Lyme Regis is busy
in summer, nice walks along the cliffs, but can get a bit
windy and rough out of season. Or try to find your own fossils
at the foot of the cliffs.
New visitor centre
- the whole coastal area is now the " Jurrassic Coast".
Good pub The Pilot Boat for good food
and drinks, |
