Billericay
|
|
|
Billericay,
close to Basildon and the M25, tucked away in the countryside,
so a popular spot to live and work.
The town
grew up mainly as a resting place for pilgrims going to Canterbury,
but it's main place in history is as being where 500 rebels
were killed by the King's soldiers during the Peasants' Revolt.
Billericay
has a long High Street with shops and interesting Tudor and
Georgian buildings along it.
