Northiam, on the border with Kent, only a small village but worth a visit as central for a few attractions in the area.
The village has a green and a old water pump, whilst the parish church dates from the 12th century. The village was used in WWII by Winston Churchill to inspect the troops prior to D-Day.
You can take a ride on the Kent & East Sussex railway here as the line runs over to Tenterden in Kent.
