This
tranquil 3 acre garden surrounds a beautiful 18th century
manor house with magnificent views over the Cotswolds.
Mr and Mrs Richard Paice moved
here in 1964 and have designed the garden largely on their
own.
There are well-kept lawns, fountains
and exuberant borders set against stone walls.
Other features of Bourton House
garden include a fine knot garden potager, a unique shade
house and imaginative topiary. The garden also has a
profusion of herbaceous and exotic plants and masses of delightfully
potted plants.
Each year there is something
new to see and visitors will find plenty to inspire them.
In the garden is a 16th century
tithe barn where plants are on sale and refreshments are available
in the summer.
