A spectacular
garden surrounds an unusual 14th century barn.
Topiary
and splendid yew hedges give structure to the garden and provide
the backdrop to the abundant planting. Particularly beautiful
in the spring when the flowering shrubs, underplanted with
bulbs, provide a wonderful display of colour.
The garden
is at its best, however, in June when the exquisite old roses
flower in abundance.
Other
features of Hodges Barn Gardens include fine trees, a little
woodland garden and a lavishly planted water garden.
