Misarden
Park Gardens surround a 17th century house in an outstanding
position overlooking the 'Golden Valley'.
The design of these beautifully-maintained
gardens was strongly influenced by Lutyens. There are
terraces draped with wisteria, magnificent yew hedges and
formal rose gardens.
Throughout the gardens there
is fine topiary. Misarden Park is particularly noted
for its spring bulbs and flowering trees and the great double
herbaceous borders are stunning in mid-summer. Features
include a summer house and rill.
Many of the plants seen growing
in the garden can be purchased in the adjoining nursery.
