Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden
Fairhaven

Near Acle, north of the B1140 at South Walsham. Set in the Norfolk Broads, the garden has 180 acres of woodland and water garden together with a private broad.  It features a large collection of naturalised candelabra primulas, a bird sanctuary. You can take a boat trip on the Broads and there is a children's nature trail.  Open all year and good times to visit are 'primrose weeks' during April and the 'candelabra primula' weeks at the end of May.

Hoveton Hall Gardens

1.5 miles north of Wroxham on the A1151. Gardens around a private house, featuring streams, lakes, woodland walk and walled herbaceous gardens. There is also a Spider Garden with a spider's-web gate, created by Eric Stevens, walled vegetable gardens and a kitchen garden which has fruit trees. more information

Raveningham Hall

At Raveningham, 12 miles south-east from Norwich, north from Bungay. A charming red-brick Georgian house, the home of Sir Nicholas Bacon and his family. Although parts of the 18th century garden remain, Raveningham Hall Gardens are predominately a 20th century masterpiece. Features a fascinating plantsman's garden, yew hedges, collections of old roseand a kitchen garde, 200 years old. more information
