Bosvigo House

Bosvigo has 3 acres of intimate gardens surrounding the charming, mainly Georgian house (not open to the public).

The owners, Michael and Wendy Perry, have developed a series of enchanting enclosed gardens or 'outdoor rooms' each with their own colour theme.

Unlike many Cornish gardens Bosvigo does not rely on spring-flowering shrubs for its colour but on summer-flowering herbaceous plants.

In the summer months a dazzling display of yellows, reds and other hot colours contrast with the unusual black and green garden to the rear of the house. The pink and grey garden is especially pretty.

Bosvigo specialises in hellebores and there are also some interesting pulmonarias. The plantsman will find much of interest in this immaculately kept garden.

The nursery also has interesting perennial and herbaceous plants for sale.
