Compton Acres Gardens are set in the beautiful area Cranford Cliffs overlooking Poole Harbour and the Purbeck Hills beyond.
The 10 acres of landscaped gardens are a very popular tourist attraction. The gardens are immaculately kept with statuary, follies, formal borders, hedges and water gardens.
Features include the recently re-designed Italian Garden with its ornamental pool and the amazing Japanese Garden, with its Imperial Tea House, thatched Summerhouse and stepping stones across the water.
Work carried out in the past 2 years allows daylight into the gardens, resulting in new plantings and spectacular designs.
Other features include a rock and water garden, Palm Court garden and a woodland walk.
