Kingston Maurward Gardens surround a fine Georgian mansion.
There are 35 acres of 18th century gardens including a 5 acre lake.
The recently restored Edwardian garden is run by the Dorset College of Agriculture. Stone balustrading and hedges divide the garden into intimate 'outdoor rooms'.
Each garden is full of interest provides beautiful views.
There are special architectural features, statuary and a walled Elizabethan garden.

There are also spectacular displays of roses and herbaceous plants. Nature and Tree Trails are marked out and a walk to the peaceful lake provides delightful views over the water meadow.
The gardens also have an animal park and Visitor's Centre.
