The award-winning Knoll Gardens attracts thousands of visitors each year and is well known for its ornamental grasses.

The beautifully maintained 4 acre garden has over 6,000 well labelled plants from all over the world.

Within Knoll there are a huge variety of different gardens to visit including unusual trees and shrubs from all over the world that form a mini-arboretum.

The National Collections of phygelius and ceanothus are held here at Knoll Gardens.

There are plenty of seats throughout the garden and level paths to walk on, as well as a self-guided trail for children . There is a series of events in the summer that show you the gardens, home to the plantsman, Neil Lucas.

Facilities include a refreshment cabin, and beside Knoll Gardens is the renowned, Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medal winning, Trehane Nursery which is well worth a visit.
